Coursework Projects.
CERAMICS
University Course, 2023.
Hand-building techniques and surface treatment exploration.
This work makes a satyrical comment on the inherent fragility and formality of ceramics as a medium by appropriating traditional delft decoration style and using text to contradict the ways we instinctively approach handling and using vessels.
3D PRINTED CERAMICS
Juxtaposing mechanical machine-led method of construction with organic form and shape.
PATTERN & DISINTEGRATION
ILLUSTRATION AND SCREEN PRINTING
University Course, 2022.
This course focused on a combination of digital methods and textile mediums to explore pattern and repetition.
Digital illustrations were used to create a three-colour printed textile pattern made with silk screen printing. The final work represents routine and daily life through visual repetition.

LIVE DRAWING
University Course, 2020.
Ink and pen triptych, emphasising the beauty of the intermediary motion between live model poses, an overlooked source of inspiration in the practice of live drawing.
TEXTILES AND JEWELLERY
University Project, 2021.
‘Carrying Place’ explored textiles, natural dye, weaving, and jewellery to investigate how place could be integrated into physical artworks, conceptually and literally.
Plant matter and household kitchen products were used to tint organic fibres, integrating an essence of home into the shades.
The jewellery component of ‘Carrying Place’ looked at the shapes produced by reflections on water.
To represent constant flowing and shifting, this piece is designed to be viewed in motion.
